With so many places offering romantic getaways for newlyweds, how do you know which is right for both of you? To help you make your decision, I’ve found the 5 most popular honeymoon destinations and why.
Positano
Notoriously known for it’s breathtaking coastal views, Positano is ranked one the highest honeymoon destinations. Situated on the Amalfi coast, you are a short boat trip over to Capri (which again is beautiful with it’s nature, cuisine and designer shopping) and are surrounded by stunning mountains, pebble beachfront and narrow streets lines with boutiques and authentic restaurants.
Positano is famously known for it’s ripe and sweet lemons which make their delicacy so fresh and delicious! You’ll be sat on a cliffside front whilst soaking in the stunning views around you, listening to the clinking of wine glasses, mild chatter and laughter or many other holiday makers.
It’s beachfront (Spiaggia) homes a romantic scenery in the daytime and a lively nightlife of bars and restaurants in the evening. It’s no surprise that you have probably seen many celebrities and bloggers visit this beach and it’s one not to miss!
If you enjoy hot sunny days then visiting Positano between June and August is the best time of the year for you. From April, the spring flowers are in bloom and make this village even more breathtaking!
California

Each resort is located on its very own private island, creating an exclusive and peaceful envoirnment. Whilst the island offers some excursions, the islands are typically very small therefore holidayers that choose to visit the Maldives are looking for a very relaxing and quiet break.

Japan
Japan is a dream honeymoon destination where you can experience ancient traditions, five star hospitality, world class cuisine and fantastic accommodations.
Many holiday goers travel around Japan per trip as there is just so much to see and experience! Usually starting with the busiest part first, Tokyo, where daytime and nightlife is electric! Try local cuisine on the street food markets and absorb the culture by taking a trip to the historic temple “Senso-ji”.
